Want to start a tech newsletter. Not sure which platform to use.

Goals: Grow to 10k subscribers in 1 year, eventually monetize

What matters:

• Ease of writing/publishing
• Growth features (referrals, analytics)
• Monetization options (subscriptions, ads)
• Audience ownership (can I leave?)

Ghost is expensive ($/mo), Substack takes 10%, Beehiiv is newer. Thoughts?
