What’s best for startups?
Need live chat for our SaaS. Want to help users faster.
Intercom is popular. Drift is bot-focused. Freshchat is cheaper.
Which has best AI features?
Need to record product demos and bug reports. Current workflow is text which is painful.
What’s important:
Loom is expensive for teams. Vidyard is business-focused. ScreenStudio looks promising.
For async team communication – what’s best?
Want to start a tech newsletter. Not sure which platform to use.
Goals: Grow to 10k subscribers in 1 year, eventually monetize
What matters:
Ghost is expensive ($/mo), Substack takes 10%, Beehiiv is newer. Thoughts?
Maintaining a few Laravel apps and tired of manual deployments. Looking for automated deployment solutions.
What’s good in 2026?
We have: 5 Laravel apps, mix of AWS and DigitalOcean
Budget: $50-100/mo
Which one doesn’t suck? 😅
Want to self-host more of our stack but don’t want to use CLI for everything. Looking for a good Docker management UI.
Found these three – which one is actually good?
Our needs:
Is self-hosting worth the maintenance or should we just use managed services?
Our startup is reevaluating our communication tools. Currently on Slack but it’s getting expensive and wondering if we’re overpaying.
Team: 15 people, mix of engineering, design, and operations
What we need:
Is Discord ready for serious team work or still too gaming-focused? Teams feels corporate af 😩
Building a podcast and need AI voiceovers. Been researching these three but can’t decide!
Use case: creating intro/outro narration for YouTube videos + some podcast episodes
Priorities:
Anyone have experience with these? Which one worth the investment?
I’ve used all three. Here’s the deal:
Notion – Good for teams, bad for personal use. Too slow, too much clutter. The free tier is limited.
Obsidian – Amazing for personal knowledge management. The local-first approach is great for privacy. But sharing is painful.
Craft – The most beautiful. But I’m worried about vendor lock-in. What if they shut down?
My setup: Notion for team stuff, Obsidian for personal. Worth the switch? Only if Notion frustrates you.
Okay I know there’s been tons of these comparisons but hear me out 😅
I’m a freelance writer and I need something for:
I’ve tried Notion before and it felt… slow? Like everything takes too many clicks.
Someone recommended Craft and it looks gorgeous but I’m worried about:
Thoughts??
