been using both for years. here’s the deal:

React:

• more jobs, more resources
• flexible but you need to pick your own tools
• react hooks changed the game

Vue:

• easier to learn, better docs
• less job market but growing
• vue 3 composition API is clean af

for 2026: both are solid. react has enterprise dominance, vue has better DX. pick based on team, not trends.

i personally prefer vue for side projects because i don’t wanna config webpack for 3 days lol
