Building my first SaaS and totally lost on which BaaS to use

Supabase seems popular with the open source crowd but Firebase has better DX?

Appwrite is newer but heard it’s catching up fast

What would you guys recommend for a solo founder?

Need: auth, database, real-time, and ideally not too expensive as I scale

Based on my experience, I’d say go with the middle option! Better documentation and more stable in production. The community is also super helpful.

I’ve been using Supabase for a few months now and honestly it’s pretty solid! The AI features are fire and it integrates well with my workflow.
