Building my first SaaS and totally lost on which BaaS to use

Supabase seems popular with the open source crowd but Firebase has better DX?

Appwrite is newer but heard it’s catching up fast

What would you guys recommend for a solo founder?

Need: auth, database, real-time, and ideally not too expensive as I scale
