Supabase all the way! 🔥
Build my SaaS on Supabase and couldn’t be happier:
Supabase – It’s basically an open-source Firebase that gives you a real PostgreSQL database. The row-level security is amazing. Free tier is generous too.
Firebase – Google’s ecosystem is solid but NoSQL is a pain. Querying nested data sucks.
PocketBase – Cool for prototypes but not ready for serious production IMO.
Go Supabase. You won’t regret it. 🚀
Freelancer here! Been using Notion for client management but feeling a bit limited 😩
Someone recommended Coda and ClickUp but not sure which fits my workflow:
- Client project tracking
- Time tracking
- Invoicing would be nice
- Simple enough that clients can use too
What are you using? Any recommendations for a one-person business? 💪
Full breakdown from a startup founder:
Supabase: My top pick. PostgreSQL under the hood, great docs, active community, generous free tier.
Firebase: Google’s got this. Great if you want Google ecosystem integration. But getting pricey.
Appwrite: Open-source alternative. Self-hosting is a big plus. But smaller community.
My recommendation: Supabase for most indie projects.
Need product analytics for my SaaS. Mixpanel and Amplitude are expensive af 💸
Heard PostHog is popular now but also checking out Plausible and simple alternatives
What actually works well? Budget is tight so open source preferred
airtable for sure. smartsheet feels like excel with extra steps, monday is cool but pricey
notion all the way. trello too basic, kanban.tools just a tool. notion = everything in one place
Need kanban board. Visual task management.
Trello is classic. Kanban is general. Notion is flexible.
