Photopea is literally the best free option. Works in browser, interface similar to Photoshop so learning transfers.
GIMP is powerful but interface is dated. Great if you need advanced editing.
Canva is for quick social media graphics, not real photo editing.
Todoist for simple tasks, Notion for everything else.
If you just need to-dos, Todoist is cleaner and faster. But if you want notes + tasks + docs + databases – Notion wins.

Student here – free version is enough for me.
GPT-3.5 handles my code questions and essay help fine. The only time I want Plus is for image analysis (GPT-4V) but I dont need it that often.

Freelance designer here, been on Sketch for years but clients keep asking if I use Figma.
Is Figma that much better? Sketch is solid and I know it well. Worth the switch?
As a student, Notion free tier is MORE than enough honestly.
Craft is beautiful but the premium price is hard to justify when Notion does 90% of what I need. The only thing Craft wins on is the UI experience.
If budget matters, stick with Notion. If you care about aesthetics and have cash to burn, Craft is nice.
Python is great for beginners honestly.
