our team is growing and we need better project management.

we currently use… nothing lol. literally using Slack for everything.

narrowed it down to:

  • Linear – developer-first, beautiful, fast
  • Notion – all-in-one, but can get messy
  • Todoist – simple, tried and true

5 person startup. what would you pick? 🚀

solo founder here. started with Notion, switched to Linear, now back to Notion 😅

Linear is amazing but for 1 person? overkill.

Notion has everything in one place. docs + tasks + database.

recommendation:

  • 1-3 people: Notion
  • 5+ people: Linear
  • simple tasks: Todoist

5 person team = Linear all the way.

reasons:

  • fast.界面流畅。
  • keyboard-first = devs love it
  • integrations = GitHub, Slack, Figma
  • $10/user = cheap for what you get

Notion = great docs, bad project tracking.

Todoist = too simple for a team.
