Currently on M1 Air, thinking about upgrading

Mainly use it for: VS Code, Docker, npm, occasional AI stuff

Question: is M3 that much faster than M2?? Is M1 still good enough?

Student budget so every $100 counts 😅

Should I just save money or is the upgrade worth it??

So I actually have both M2 and M3 Air for work 👀

Difference? Barely noticeable honestly. M3 has slightly better GPU for some tasks but for coding it’s the same chip basically.

Get M2 if you can find a good deal, otherwise M1 is still killer value

honestly M1 is still plenty powerful for most devs 🖥️

I run Docker + VS Code + Chrome with like 20 tabs and it’s totally fine

M2/M3 upgrades are marginal for most use cases. Save your money!
